Introduction To Revelation
As you read the Book of Revelation, it becomes extremely important to know that Almighty God, not Jesus, and certainly not John the apostle, actually originated it. As documented by Revelation One, verses one and two below, the very first verses of the Book make this fact crystal clear.Verse One:
"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which Almighty God gave to him (Jesus).
to show to his (Jesus') servants
things which must shortly come to pass;
And he (Jesus) sent and signified it by his (Jesus') angel
unto his (Jesus') servant John:
Verse Two:
Who bare record of The Word Of God,and of the testimony of Jesus Christ,
and of all things that he (John) saw."
Therefore, as is made unquestionably clear by the very first two verses of the Book: Almighty God gave the information to Jesus who is in Heaven, Jesus gave the information to his angel, Jesus' angel then gave he information to the apostle John, and as per his instructions, John wrote it down (all on small individual scrolls which were later assembled and edited by scribes), so that people would have access to that same information throughtout history.
Therefore, Almighty God originated everything that's written in the Book of Revelation.

Now then, the fact that God used the very first verses of the Book to establish that HE HIMSELF originated all the information that is found in the Book, makes it quite clear that those, including most of America's best known pastors, preachers, speakers, and Sunday school teachers, have obviously not taken the necessary time to study what Almighty God has said. Otherwise they would not be publicly making the false claim that Jesus (whom most of them claim wrote the Book of Revelation), is using verses 1:8, 1:11, 21:6-7, and 22:13 to declare that HE HIMSELF is Almighty God, the Alpha and the Omega. Which is nothing less than heresy, and utterly false doctrine. To wit:"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8)
"Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea." (Revelation 1:11)
"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." (Revelation 21:6-7)
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." (Revelation 22:13)
Now, take note from the Old Testament that Almighty God alone is the "alpha and the Omega (the beginning and the end), and you will see just how utterly false the doctrine is that claims Jesus is himself Almighty God.
"I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images." (Isaiah 42:8)
"Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." (Isaiah 44:6)
"Thus saith the LORD (Almighty God), thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;" (Isaiah 44:24)
"I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. and there is none else. I am the LORD, I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." (Isaiah 45:5-7)
"For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else." (Isaiah 45:18)
i hope this helps. Although more Scriptural proof will very soon follow when we discern Revelation 4:10 through 6:1, which will document from Scripture that Jesus cannot possibly. BE .Almighty God.
Feel free to ask all the questions you want. But before you do, please consider Revelation 1:5, wherein by Jesus' own words, at this time he is but a Prince, which by all definitions, is a Ruler in waiting.
"And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," (Revelation 1:5)
At any rate, based on the above statement by Almighty God Himself that "and my glory will I not give to another, i'm sure everyone can see WHY referring to Jesus as God Himself is an abomination in the eyes of The Most High God which, based on HIS very First Commandment declaring that HE is a very JEALOUS GOD, and further declaring that man shall have no other God before Him, will take people who are doing so right straight to hell.
